You know it. He's really annoying me with his pro Ed stance.

He's not a true Live fan in my book.

here's another link to the station:

Damn once again. I missed the begining of the track but got most of it. Sorry, it's the best I can do...

That's gotta be the best technical solo Chad T. has laid down, I was impressed. Also like the sound of the mastered product, really has a great rock punch to it even with all the shitty compression radio supplies.

Song will be on again Monday at 9pm Central. If there wasn't one, hopefully we can get a rip then!!!

So I have to say, this is the first I've really listened to The Gracious Few. I haven't been as excited or giddy as some others around here, clinging to every tidbit that they put out...but I absolutely loved this song.

I was really looking forward to Ed's solo album, but not so much TGF's. I'm not looking for to Ed's any less now...but this has really put my anticipation for TGF up on the same level. For me, it isn't about comparing the two anyways, I expect to like them both a lot.

And I know I may be getting a bit too excited...after all, its only one song...but it did really get me excited.

The song reminded me as something that would have fit in perfectly with Audioslave's first album...and for me this is a huge compliment. That album is my personal favorite, outside of Live's stuff and the Wallflowers Bringing Down The Horse (note: I'm not claiming those to be all-time great albums, just personal faves).

Ok I really, really like this ... like with Appetite I do like it, but I struggle to see it have longevity. I really dig the bad ass riff of this song, hell I even dug it when it was 'Believe', but the lyrics just fit so much better than Believe's did .. it was obvious that Ed had these lyrics he really wanted to put in a song and CT had a riff that he wanted to make into a song and the two just didn't come together.

haha and a bit of Rammstein being played after it ... totally can dig that!

The good thing about longevity is you won't know until you hear it 100 times right? Might as well enjoy it until then!!

Oh I'm still enjoying Appetite, I don't dislike it ... it took me a little while to get into it, and sometimes those are the songs that you end up liking the most. But it's still not really "my thing" .. this .... this just instantly grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and went "YOU WILL LIKE ME" .. I have no choice really. I love Honest Man nervous.gif

And how can you know that for sure? tongue.gif Have you heard the rest of the album? haha

I honestly think so far that Honest Man will be my favorite .. I dug the riff heaps when it was Believe, it was my favorite of all the sampler clips ... it's only contender so far might be "The Few" (ie used to be known as Raimus). But hey, it's early days.

From the sampler The Few is kicker!! I think Guilty Fever will be killer as well. No I haven't heard the album. I've been told by some folks that there are better tracks.
