Live is the only band that I ever was able to listen to their albums all the way through without skipping songs. Of all the bands that I have seen in concert, for my money, they put on the best shows.

I like other artists, but Live was by far my favorite.

Grasshopper may I mail you my cd collection.

Are these for real? One can only hope that the first three songs are R.E.M. covers

the last 2 certainly look like covers, especially Fire On The Mountain (Grateful Dead)

That's actually a good idea. Feel free to start a new thread listing albums that you could listen from start to finish without skipping a track...

It's a pretty interesting coincidence though ay? THREE songs in a row with the same titles as songs by one of his biggest influences? eh.gif

Plus there's:
Rome = B52's
Sweet Surrender = Wet Wet Wet
Grace = Jeff Buckley
Just In Time = Tony Bennett

Not to mention "Everlasting Love"...

Pearl Jam's last album had song titles already used by The Doors (The End), Coldplay (Speed of Sound) and Oasis (Supersonic AND Force of Nature).

After 60 odd years of rock and roll, have we finally "run out" out song titles?! shrug.gif

I think the "a" actually means "no" like a-theist or a-typical. We can all agree that this is not live so A-live is actually very fitting.

And now you're gonna go out and get yourself a little reputation

edit: Whoa I just realised the awesome pun in my own post there !

If Ed wants to look at how to control his voice then listening to a few Tim Buckley tracks would teach him a thing or two.

No, it is because both artists have lost all creativity and are just mailing it in for the $$$ at this point. They are also too old to remember song titles by other bands. smile.gif

Seriously, you expect 2 or so on every album, but almost all of these songs share titles with other songs, well known songs too! It looks like a damn covers album!

I'm sure someone is going to call it "great marketing" because it makes people "recall the other song and they will want to buy this album."
