I'm not angry at the title of font or whatever it is that Ed used ... I just find the title lame .. if Live were still together and titled their album Alive i would think its lame. It's just a dull title name ... if TGF called their album Alive I'd think it's a lame name.

I agree.

Actually I think some of TGF's song titles sound lame, but they are more interesting than "Grace," "Drive," etc. At least they have more than one word in them.

I'd rather have an album called Alive, full of songs like Zion and Grace - than an album called SFBM with the songs it had.

Based on title alone, Songs from Black Mountain is a much more interesting title than Alive.

Things are going to get real interesting around here when Ed starts recording Christian praise and worship music. This is the first step toward that.

I got an email announcing the new album yesterday and was horrified when I saw the title. Alive? Seriously?

I think it's cheesy and lame.

You ruined Live, Ed. Trying to capitalize on the name is not going to win back any of the fans that you lost. no.gif

The day this happens is the day I finally have a funeral in my mind for the artist formerly known as Ed Kowalczyk.

If you told me 10 years he would have devolved into this cheesy drivel, I would have said you were high!

Live will be back by 2012. There will be too much touring money on the table for the guys to not do it.

For now, I'm happy that Ed's album resembles live's rocking sound.

Nick, where do you come off making that assumtion? Were you personally told that this is a fact?

Just trying to keep you honest, not trying to bash you.

The four guys are most marketable as Live. The Gracious Few will most likely take a back seat to Candlebox. The guys mentioned that they will eventually ressurrect Live, and the only way for that to be profitable will be to include Ed.

You can't have Live without Ed. It is very rare for a band to successfully replace their lead singer, especially one who wrote the lyrics to all your songs.
