That's probably why OTD has yet to respond in this thread about the announcement...he's probably lying in a ditch somewhere, possibly naked, and very much drunk on his own sense of power within the Gracious Few fanbase!

A big announcement that made 1-5 people in Wisconsin happy, and aggravated the rest of their fanbase.

Next time announce an individual show without a whole lot of worthless hoopla. Oh and maybe don't make promises that you are not 100 percent sure you can keep. I am sure there were a lot of TGF fans in PA that were looking forward to an April show.

Help us reach 10,000 fans, and we'll eventually announce a PA warm-up show.

Has it ever occurred to you that the band could do a warm-up show in PA and NEVER announce it publicly? Bands do secret shows all the time, and typically warm-up rehearsal shows are not open to the public.

I'm sure we would hear SOMETHING about it, but you are assuming an awful lot.

In February, they made it a point to say that they would announce their lancaster warm-up dates for April once they reached 10,000 fans on Facebook. They reached that mark last week with no announcement, and April is half over.

So why do you care? You seem like you want them to fail and will bring up the stupidest thing they do so long as it makes them look bad. Ok Nick, just come out and tell us... how much is Ed paying you.

And don't come in here saying ohh the fans the fans, you don't care. You are STILL just bitter that Live is done and you have chosen to put the blame on these guys and nitpick everything they do. But everything and anything Ed has done is gold and can be no wrong in your eyes.

If you follow the timeline closely it was clear that the album was pushed back and completely natural that the shows would be too. Maybe they realized having a public warm-up show wasn't feasible? Who knows.

If that bothers you more than the embarrassing things Ed has done/is doing, then, well, I just can't even wrap my head around that so I'm not going to try.

As for the announcement, Summerfest is a really festival (9 days worth in fact) and quite honestly I figured the band would have to work their way up to playing these kind of events again. Even if it only made "1 or 2 fans in Wisconsin" happy it is still a big deal for the band and a good sign for them being fairly successful.

Well they announced the intital set of bands for Summerfest today, and The Gracious Few is no where on it. They must be one of the early openers for the day that they will announce later.

Well Nick, I was waiting for your reply and was ready for whatever you had. But all you did is make me laugh. Damn you, haha. I hate everything about you when it comes to music and this band, but I'd have a brew with ya any day. (as long as we don't talk music)

You can actually argue with Nick and tell him off (and it's hard cause he's a good guy). I visit other forums where its like Nazi Germany.
