In all fairness they didn't instigate it, just responded. Damned if they do and damned if they don't, people get on Ed's case about not responding to stuff, people get on TGF's case about responding so .. eh.

Again.. it all depends on who they are responding to. I doubt someone that messages them saying they were big Live fans and were sad to see them break up would be met with a cold "stop crying over Live" message, but some douche who goes out of their way to send an angry message like that, then of course that is the sort of response they'll get.

Without Live, there wouldn't be The Gracious Few. It is natural for fans to be upset about Live's demise.

This is my thinking. They're all grown men, so it shouldn't matter how upfront a fan is on Facebook. They should just deleted on move on with their business. In my opinion, anyway.

I really don't get the harsh criticism here, this is fucking rock n' roll! If Facebook had existed in '95 then this response would be hilarious and we'd all be talking about how awesome it is for these guys to react to their fans and non-fans. I mean, what if it was Pat who wrote that comment? Hilarious!

I think it's fairly simple, what is more embarrassing:

a. Member of TGF responding to an idiotic complaint on Facebook with some fun
b. Constant LOL's, coffee with a picture of kids on it, an $100 pendant, and a $175 phone call

If you answered "a" then wow.gif .
