Anyone else think that TGF needs to get on the road and play some shows now? With Ed announcing all these tour dates and getting music on youtube I would have to say he has is starting to get the fanbase drawn his way before TGF. Not saying its a competition and that we wont all get excited when they finally do play some dates but the sampler they sent out has sort of taken a back seat to what Ed has been doing the past few weeks. Im liking the sound of Ed's songs so far and TGF but we havent heard a full TGF song yet. We've heard four of Ed's songs now along with some vids from shows. Do we have an album date from TGF too yet? I didnt know if I missed that one.

Well we have Appetite, and I think soon we will start seeing more and more activity in the TGF camp.

What about the tone of this message DOESN'T say "competition"?

I'd rather them take their time making the best album possible, which is what they seem to be doing.

Chad said TGF and TLA are mixing the record next week in Miami FL. Album summer release date.

THe tour dates shoud be announced very soon. almost at 10000 fan mark on FB.

It is pretty late to announce April shows now though. I'm wondering if the PA shows will be delayed a bit?

Yeah. I was wondering when they were going to schedule the shows. Hopefully they don't delay them until May.... I have finals and won't be able to go sad.gif

Ed is basically touring on Live's coat tails though .. the bulk of his shows so far are going to be just doing what he's always done, true with a new group .. but he's the director with total control .. much easier to organise. He's doing it with session muso's who's job is to just join and leave bands at the drop of a hat .. so it's no wonder he's out on the road first before TGF ... They've got a more democratic system it seems with more involved steps being taken.

Coupled with the fact that TGF members have other things going on besides TGF....Kevin/Sean with Candlebox. Chad/Chad with Questionable Entertainment projects.
