It is rare to find an internet forum where people do share their opinions AND give rational arguments for having those opinions. A lot of that has to do with the fact that there are maybe less then 15 of us that post regularly, but either way that's why I stick around.

its been pretty open news for a while that ed is a christian, happened about a year ago

I wouldn't argue against him being more accepting or embracing of the religion, especially in comparison to his younger years, but I think that is very different than Ed is an exclusive Christian who has bought into the fundamental dogma of modern day Christianity, which is basically what Gotigerz seems to be implying.

His Amazon Book List has more spiritual content than Christianity and I think that alone proves my point. I don't know many exclusive Christians that support non-Christian spirituality.

I wouldn't worry too much about the ed bashers here I think that a group of people seem 2 blame ed 4 the split and also know who will really succeed post the split and are trying to even up the ledger a bit. Ed writes lyrics he believes in & knows what it takes 2 succeed and he's doing it. TGF have some good riffs but that appears 2b where it ends at the moment. Perhaps this fuels their anger and they voice it on here. Either way forums mean nothing really there are heaps of live/ed/thf fans out there this forum is only a tiny selection of them. Whilst I look forward to having twice the music as before the split, I look 4ward 2 ed's album more because he has a message in his work and his music has meaning to me. Don't b turned away from the forum bc of some idiots but at the same time I wouldn't exactly take much of it seriously!

Must be fun to call people who you don't know anything about "idiots." I love the internet.

And why the need for the semi text speak - is it really that much more difficult to type to rather than 2? Call me pedantic if you will, but by the time you've reached your left ring finger all the way up there or your right hand to the right to the numerical pad, you could have pressed the t and the o with minimal effort.
