That's what I'm saying, it's his only response to date. Which is fair enough if that's all he wants to say .. but if none of it is true then you'd think he'd want to say a little more to set things straight and not have people think he's such an ass.

Most of us seem to agree that what CT said may not be 100% accurate and that it may be skewed a little in the other guys favour, but that its based on something and the truth is in there somewhere. Ed said NONE of it was true, implying from what we can see, that CT made the entire thing up. I find that extremely difficult to believe, why would he be so stupid to post outright lies in a public forum like that when the implications may not be worth the gain. If the entire thing was untrue then you'd think Ed would be well within his rights to go on the attack (or defence depending on how you call it) and totally pwn CT. But instead he went to ground and bunkered up and refused to talk about it. Couldn't be on legal advice if he's 100% in the right and everything CT said was lies, because legally speaking then he'd have nothing to lose by telling the truth.
So with that logic, is it any wonder a lot of people see things more from CT's point of view?

Anyhoo, how did this even come up again ... not gonna argue the point anymore.

Haha, I don't know. I do find the situation fascinating though if only because of how common it is.

I imagine it will be settled out of court, but if Ed were to be in the right he could definitely sue for slander.

Adam K. is one of the most "likeable" guys out there and anyone who has ever met him knows this...he is a true gentleman and is down to earth as it gets....nothing but the best for him!

AGREED ... this subject is so over. Everyone involved is moving on with their lives. I'm amazed that this is still being discussed.

If I remember correctly, it was Chad Taylor who was very keen for Adam to join, so carry on accepting it as a nice gesture and possiby Adam actually being a great musician with a lot to add to Live's onstage performances.

Can I also point out that most of the stuff about secret recording contracts and lead singer bonuses is hearsay with absolutely no concrete evidence to show so far, so until found otherwise should be treated as bullshit instead of being embroidered on. Honestly, a few of you on here are like a bunch of little girls hanging on every word Perez Hilton blogs. Grow up.

Like I said, I don't think its the total truth because like you say one would tend to skew it to their side, but I believe somewhere within that is the truth.
Ed to me has just turned into a something laughable, and its so easy to take the piss out of him .. that's regardless of whether TGF had opened their mouth about any of this at all. If some of his music is good, then I'll listen to it and like it for sure. But while he's still acting as da EK, then he better put on his flak jacket.
Seeing CT and CG bag Ed totally sucks in some ways .. in another way I find it funny, in some ways I find it comforting because it reaffirms to me that for the past few years of Live's existance when I was wondering what the hell happend to the band I loved, at least 3 members of the band were asking the exact same thing.

Natural instinct tells me that if there were a black and white, right and wrong side to this, then I'd be leaning towards the view that TGF hold, as Ed hasn't really offered anything to the contrary. I know if I were him I'd certainly not want to get into an internet shit slinging match, but if untrue acusations were being made then I would damn sure want to stick up for myself and not have my name tarnished. Nick brought up the point that maybe there are legal reasons for him not saying anything ... possible. But if what TGF are saying is 100% not true as he stated, then I don't see how legally him telling what apparently is the truth to be, would be a bad thing for him? Whichever party is more in the wrong would be the ones you'd think getting the legal advice to shut the hell up.

As I read more and more posts, I keep getting an idea that both sides, confronting (or not anymore) will to me remain an organism which once created TDTH which I regard as the best rock record ever in terms of music, texts, singles, videos, touring, bsides, band relationships, and mystery behind the unreleased stuff.
