It was short & sweet. Sponsored by the local radio station here, www.island943.com, Ed was on stage with his black Takamine for about 40 minutes. There were q&a sessions between each song. He played The River, Heaven, I Alone, Overcome & Lightning Crashes.

A few of the questions were cool - I think the best one was, "How did you land the role in Fight Club?" haha He just went out to Hollywood to get out of PA, has a friend who at the time was a budding agent, jokingly asked to get a movie role. He's a big fan of David Fincher, who is a big fan of Live ... Ed's role in Fight Club was sort of created for him, just so he could be in the movie. Cool, right?

This is the only picture I took. It's from my phone - not the best qualtiy, but not the worst.

Good question Dan, if I get the opportunity tomorrow I'll ask him.

No - but someone asked if the band was ok, since Ed was out on his own. He said he does these little solo gigs for each album - "the band is alive & well".

It makes sense if you think about it. For the "normal" fan, Ed is the only one you would know anyway, so it's much easier to pack him up with one guitar, Matt, & a few label guys, than it would be to pack up FOUR guys, the tractor trailers full of equipment, a whole entire crew, hotels, food, waredrobe cases, blahblahblah ... and this way, he'd be able to hit teeny dumpy spots like Farmingdale, Long Island and wherever else he's going.

Either he's wearing a flesh colored shirt, or he is once again shirtless. What is he, allergic to fabric? eh.gif
