Lately I've been listening to some of my all-time favorite Live songs, with VERY different ears given the recent months. I got to Gas Hed, and I don't remember Pat's playing to be so damn smooth! I've been listening to it, over and over again, telling myself just one more time. If it's been a while since you've listened, fire it up and try to listen to just Pat's playing music.gif . I'll bet you won't be able to CHISEL the grin off of your face!!!!!

Take care everybody,
Mark

Gas Hed goes West is supposed to be a story regarding Ed moving to California......or something of the sort.

I think it's one of their best underrated songs musically!!

100% agreement on that one. It was amazing to hear them play it at the last HOB Houston show I went to.

Amen my friend, AMEN!!!!!!! Loved the Gas Hed march when I saw them in Houston. Almost as good as the Lakini dance, but not quite. I wish I could get my hands on both an instrumental version and an acapella version of Gas Hed, or maybe acoustic. I think it was fitting that they closed SS with it.

I would certainly love to know if they did an acoustic of GHGW.
