The guys had every right to bitch. It's within their right and no matter what side we take, it's their fucking livelyhood.

Um, so they have lots of time for tweeting and posing for photographs, but when will they actually release a real song?

Ohw, and March 2010 they will release more than "a real song" wink.gif

According to Twitter and Facebook posts, TGF are in York in Pat's studio recording extra songs for the album..

The Gracious Few: We are gathering in York to write more songs that will be used for "exclusive" and "extra" tracks for the record. Keep on telling your friends about TGF!

THanks Dan, that's good to hear. I think they may have been happy with a lot of our favorable reviews on the 'zeppelin type classic rock style' Appetite.

I'd love it if they did a little quick show at Chameleon club or something similar performing some of their new songs. Hearing Appetite live would be badass.

Appetite is decent but nothing too special. The intro of the song reminds me of the Secret Samadhi sound, the rest has a classic vibe indeed, while i am not excited about Kevin's voice. I hope we have better songs from TGF. I would prefer Zion as it is cacthier and Ed's voice is great.

I've been reading the past few pages of posts (very entertaining by the way) and I don't know where the concern for popularity came from; maybe I didn't read far enough. Being a +Live+ fan has always been about my love for their music, not whether they were popular or not. In a way, I have enjoyed +Live+ being just under the radar so to speak, not sure why.

More than likely, this popularity thing was just a question of "how popular do you think they'll be", and took off from there. For many unfortunate reasons, I haven't heard any clips, other than the first 2 videos posted a while back. The more I think about it, I think I've decided NOT to hear any clips until I have the full album in hand (or iTunes or whatever, prolly buy both), back to the days some have described above. I'm going to find a nice quiet spot, get my headphones on, get nice and comfy.............and hit play.

We're talking about Chad, Pat and CAG finally rocking out, like caged animals getting free for the first time, and it's going to be sweet. It's going to be oh so sweet.

thechadtaylor - The Gracious Few at Pinkpop? You could help: http://www.pinkpop.nl/page.php?pagID=510 about 20 hours ago from Twittelator

Chad posted this link on his Twitter. It looks like it's a request page for the Pinkpop festival in Holland. I don't speak Dutch and I can't find a place where fans can suggest a band to perform...

Do any of our Dutch members know what's going on?

Thanks for that. thumbsup.gif

Do you think The Gracious Few would be successful playing festivals or should they stick to club shows to begin with?

There was this thing going on that the Dutchies were able to suggest bands for the next Pinkpop 2010 festival.
Jan Smeets, the decisionmaker of this festival, should be made interested in booking TGF.
Let's hope that TGF will show up in Holland at Pinkpop 2010
