The lesser of 2 evils would be a preference. Thanks for proving my point.

In the case of Zion and Appetite the evil of the two lessers is a more appropriate turn of phrase.

Appetite. No brainer. Killer song. My God this is better than I could have ever imagined. I'm ready to get "TGF" tattooed across my forehead.

I really want to say I love Appetite and Ed's song sucks but deep down I'm probably more drawn to Zion. I'm not a musician at all so the number one thing that stands out for me when listening to music is the vocals.

As much as I love what TGF are doing, Kevin Martin just doesn't do it for me. It definitely sounds like something I could enjoy spinning from time to time, but as far as filling the Live void? Not even close. It sucks because I want TGF to blow Ed out of the water and become my favorite band but for me they already have a very limited ceiling.

Ed's voice is what got me hooked on Live. That said, Zion isn't that good of a song and Ed's a d-bag so I probably won't listen to him much, if at all.

Combine the passion of TGF with Ed pre 2000 or whatever and we'd probably have some kickass music. sad.gif

That's the thing. Appetite (and probably TGF) doesn't fill the Live void. It's nothing like Live. Frankly, The EK and Zion come pretty close to filling the Live void. Zion isn't bad at all in that regard.

TGF is totally different. I really love The White Stripes and Audioslave and Godsmack and Led Zep. Appetite rocks me like that. It put hair on my chest just listening to it. Zion and Everlasting Love take hair off my chest. That's not a bad thing if I want to feel all mystical and
filled with love and peace. But if I want to get my blood boiling, then it's TGF. These two parts of Live are splintering in different directions.

I have to pick Zion since TGF doesn't actually want people listening to their song!

the only solution is for TGF to kick martin out of their band and replace him with ed on vocals. wouldnt that be sumn?

Just heard Appetite for the first time and it's got a good sound.
But for some reason Kevin Martin sounds like Brian Johnson in that song and it kind of disturbs me.
I'm gonna have to listen to it a bit more to appreciate it I think.
As for Zion, I love it, one of my favorite songs right now.
So I'm not gonna vote as of now, I will have to give Appetite a bit more time.
