I actually signed up for it before he sent out the email. I stumbled upon it on a visit and it was free. $30 value my ass.

Anyway, when I first registerd the Zion video wasn't working yet. Now that I've heard it I'd have to say I don't like the subject of the song, but I like the sound of it. Hearing a song sound like that reminds me of why I enjoyed Live.

Ed is the voice of the band and this does have a Live sound to it.

Guy is still a bastard, but I do enjoy his melodies.

You know... I have to say... I actually like this song... I wish Ed's voice was deeper and darker in the CHORUS, but there's a lot of the old Ed/Live sound at times...

Reasons why this song has a Live sound:

1. Ed is singing (derh)
2. Live already used this chord progression at least once, if not two or three times.
3. The drums, stylistically, are very similar to Gracey's drumming (as a drummer, almost annoyingly so at points)
4. We've all been conditioned to CT and PD not doing anything unique on SFBM so it might as well be them, especially Pat. smile.gif

I rather like some of the production in the song; the whirlitzer and guitar effects are nice touches, and I actually enjoyed the intro. I'm not sure what the farting sound is, but it sounds like something would sound really nice if it weren't so loud in the mix.

I'm also glad it doesn't talk about biting dick...
