Oh boys, I'm so sorry to disappoint you both, but the guilty pleasures and clenched buttocks are nothing kinky. They are all down to Ed being a complete cheeseball and the others playing along with him rather than slapping some sense into him. Things like Ed whistling like Roger bastard Whittaker in the middle of Nobody Knows. Lyrics like "Think of gentle Jesus" and me liking some songs like Deep Enough despite me knowing they are basically bullshit.

I'm so glad I didn't say that first, but I felt the same. Too much information yet again. Not so much wearing your heart on your sleeve as putting your naked ass on show. It was uncomfortably voyeuristic and I wish I'd stopped reading when I got as far as the waffling about Shiva and star signs.

Nah, it's more likely the other way around. That when writing, letters are accidentally in the wrong places but it still looks correct for the writer. I've got the same problem, to a lesser degree; spellcheck is a beautiful thing. It also made learning to read and write, as a kid, a little more interesting than usual. I like to think that I've worked most of it out by now, though.

There are different kinds and degrees of dyslexia, I think
There are symptoms described here:

Reading or writing shows repetitions, additions, transpositions, omissions, substitutions, and reversals in letters, numbers and/or words.

Then there's a bunch of other symptoms, like inability to do algebra,
These are the like every single symptom that might be associated with dyslexia. They don't all apply at once. One of my cousin has mild dyslexia so I know a little bit about it.
