Eddie K's Fanclub, Studio Version of new Eddie K song Options

I really like the song. The only thing I don't like is the farting sound at the very beginning. What is that? It sounds like farts?

This song makes me optimistic that we wil get a good album. I'll buy it. I am a fan of Ed's art and his voice, even if I have negative feelings about his current personality and the controversy with Live.

But what is up with the quick shot of him giving the finger with the mean look on his face? Wow! That was clearly intentional. You can't miss it. I have to admit that I didn't see it the first time I watched the video until I saw someone point it out here, because after the shot of The EK with his shirt off I literally started to avert my eyes. That was put in there for some purpose. I have no doubt that is directed at Chad, Chad and Pat. Looks like maybe the EK has some real anger. Is that what Jesus would do? Give the finger with a hateful look on his face. Has The EK gotten to the part of the new testament about turning the other cheek and loving your neighbor? That was a little disappointing.

Good song, very Radiant Sea-ish. I think if Ed makes a rock album it wont sound like TGF. It will be totally different.

Here is something that begs the question....why does Ed feel compelled to make a rock album when he neglected to do this since 1999 with his mates?

I completely agree with this. I'm on the fence about joining his fanclub, even though it is free. I'm currently listening to Zion that JSax posted and I have to admit that it's pretty good. I agree that the intro sounds weird with that strange sound at the beginning. I just wish that he hadn't treated his bandmates the way he had.

I am in agreement as well. I opted out of his newsletter and don't think I will join the fanclub. I did listen to Zion. It is pretty good, however a little to Christian-y for me, but I feel compelled to enjoy it because the backing guitarist is a friend of mine (from Austin and a VERY talented freelance musician).

I DO WISH HE HAD NOT TREATED HIS BANDMATES THE WAY HE HAD AND MY OPINION OF HIM IS TOTALLY IN THE SHITTER (not only that but I am sick of his arrogance and seeing him hit on the hot girls all the time after shows).

I agree too. I listened to it once out of curiosity, then deleted it. I'm actually kind of pissed off right now. The song is not bad, but it sounds like he is trying to make a Live song. I didn't see the video where he flips the bird but it does seem like this song is a big FU, like he is going to justify his huge ego by proving that he can make a rock record on his own. Good luck. He'll never see a dime of my money. Come on TGF hurry up and get some music out there!

It's a photo of Ed flipping the bird - maybe he's pissed because he doesn't have chevy with a butterfly door? Maybe he's doing his own pap shots? Who knows? Who cares? He could have shown his arse for all I care.

I can't agree with you that this picture of The EK flipping the bird with an angry look on his face might be just another press photo. It was blipped in there for less than a quaerter of a second and that shot is not a very marketing-oriented press shot, to say the least. The fact that it is in there for a blip clearly suggests that it is intended to elicit a response and be noticed and talked about, like a hidden message. Non of the other "normal" photos were placed in there just for the blink of an eye. I don't think that it is reading too much into it to say that this photo appears to be sending a message.
