funny u mention it im actually on chapter 3 at the moment. Maybe richard dawkins should be the new lead singer of live, but instead of singing he can just read: "The angel does NOT open her eyes, for she is an illusion..."

Or we could get John Safran to front the new band "it got me thinking ... what would happen if you really were struck by lightning? I thought I'd find out.."

It was recorded a few days before Ed played with the Metropole Orchestra in Amsterdam, on the 3rd of October 2009.

oke, thanks. So that makes it BEFORE Chad wrote that blog. But for them it doenst make a difference, as they probably hadn't spoke with each other for a few months before october

I own the book too! I got mine for 4 bucks and for you people outside of America, that is about the cost of a bag of potato chips here.

Creepy God loving smiley Ed for the first song, old-material ruining Ed in the second. NOT HOLY THUNDER! JUST FUCKING THUNDER! AND NO OH MY LORD.

I'm glad I am not the only person who thinks Ed is creepy...and getting creepier by the minute.

Haha, amazing. Great book. Gets a little scientific but Ed definitely needs to read.

Nice - it's on my list. Have you read The End of Faith by Sam Harris?

Is anyone able to isolate the two songs he performed and convert them to a MP3 format?

Glad I took in this interview, but without question certain topics were off-limits. Too bad. The music highlight for me was the cover of I Alone by Anouk and Sarah Bettens of K's Choice. I've seen Anouk do this song before, but never had the pleasure of seeing this footage of her and Sarah along with a backing band. Excellent stuff.

I also like the version where she performs with the creaters of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq0jblIiGyI . God, I love watching videos from the TDTH era, when they were so popular!
