The first clip was the one we heard with Sean Connery over it, but with no Sean Connery.

The second one was a decent rocker that actually featured some vocals, of the 3 it was my least favorite but all that was played was intro riffs and part of a verse.

The third one was FUCKING AWESOME and started out with Gracey playing some crazy stuff on drums the likes of which we've never heard him play, and then it went into this SICK riff that was harder than the other clips and really made me want to hear the rest.

All of them had big guitars, huge bass sound, and Gracey was really killing it on drums. They were just rough mixes though, not fully mixed and mastered songs so they should sound a lot different by the time we hear them again. Since they weren't done I can see why the band wouldn't want them out.

Pretty much what the above said ... I wasn't impressed by the little clip with the vocals .. it sounded kinda unmasculine and whiney compared to the music .. candlebox vocals .. but i was assured that it gets better and that Kevin has "reinvented himself" ... so I'm willing to reserve judgement until a proper release smile.gif

Haha, I agree that the vocals didn't sound very good. In most unmixed songs the vocals don't sound great, so I'm willing to reserve judgment on that. There wasn't any kind of reverb on the vocals yet, which is standard to rock music these days. Its weird hearing vocals without it.

what clips do you mean? Wasnt it just the clips Jon posted 2 days ago or so, in which you hear 3 PARTS of songs. It was from a rehearsel few months backs

Yeah those are the clips. I wasn't sure if they were rehearsals, demos, or unmixed album tracks. Can you confirm that they were rehearsal clips?

It can be difficult to tell the difference between demos and album tracks that haven't been mixed yet.

The Sean Connery clip was in there and sounded slightly different from the demo version we heard awhile back, that's why I thought it might just be unmixed album tracks. They definitely weren't mixed or produced at all so who knows?
