QUOTE(pizan0 @ Nov 9 2009, 4:19 pm) *

What I don't get is that if all of this about Ed is true (which it very well may be), why do both parties keep calling this a hiatus and not a break-up? If Chad, Chad and Pat were truly that offended, shouldn't they just say "we're through with Live for good"?

I don't think you want to end something you had for more than 20 years (and even fully) believed in less than a year ago) just immediately. I think they want to have a possibility to get back in the future, and just aren't sure about what to do with Live. You don't just throw a big name like Live away like it didnt mean anything to you. If they really feel the same in 2 years as they feel right now, maybe than they will say: oke, we'll never get back together again. But I understand why they dont now.

I hope that picture's not an indication of a lazy, poor effort on behalf of the gracious few.

According to pollstar, Candlebox just booked a new concert for January in Nevada. Are Kevin Martin and Sean Hennesy going to be splitting time between the two projects?

A new concert does not mean a tour running.

Of course they are, just like Chad Taylor is with his movie production.

Movie production is different than running two bands at the same time.

I'm assuming you've been in a touring band and been in movie production before since you have all this knowledge.

Actually, your comments reveal how little you know about how this works. On Candlebox' reunion tour Sean Hennessy and their bassist did a separate tour with another band DURING the Candlebox tour. They would do dates with their band on off nights and then open for Candlebox on every tour date. I realize that doesn't fit your narrow-minded look at touring, but step outside of the box every now and then why don't you.

Did you call Eddie K out for playing acoustic shows when Live wasn't doing shows? How is that any different from Kevin and Sean doing shows with Candlebox?

Look, chances are both bands won't tour at the same time. But, neither of these bands are the kind that will stay on tour for an entire year. There is plenty of time to tour and make rock n roll, or they wouldn't have agreed to doing the band in the first place.

Chad Taylor just tweeted:

"The "studio life" for me means locking myself away from everyone and everything. I miss my "Tweeps." You are going to love this album."

Chad Taylor:

Tons of requests pending to hear some new material. Stay tuned, we are still in the early stages of tracking.

Ít's getting a little bit TOO long for me till they finally let us hear anything! sarcasm.gif
I think I give up hope and just wait till spring, when the completed album will be out.
