I can honestly say that after listening to it a few times...this song is brilliant.

What they did with this song is new territory, but I was drawn in, and I must say it is some of the best stuff I've heard from them in a long time.

Two thumbs way up for me thumbsup.gif

I agree completely. I don't hear any lack of flow whatsoever. I like it when the chorus kicks in. It seems like it starts at a pace that will make for a faster paced chorus and then it slows just a bit almost simaltaneously. I think it's unique and I fucking love this song. Best on the entire cd by a zillion miles.

Wings is one verse and one creative instrumental away from being a top notch Live song too. This is a definate improvement over BOP.

Name one song from lame ass Nickelback that sounds like Wings? That's almost as retarded as the goon who said that Night of Nights is the worst song on the cd.

well to rephrase my statement, Last month I went to my local grocery outlet to purchase a slab of Kraft extra tasty cheese. Dusk was beckoning and the checkout chick didnt yeild to my less than subtle advances, so I finalised my transaction and ducked out in a timely fashion in order to escape the steadily advancing security. I made it home in time to prepare the chicken parmesana which I had planned as the main course of a banquet in honour of my special guest...my cat, 'Socks'. The breast was crumbed, the wine decanting, and the stove alight; allowing me a perfect window of time to grate the cheese. I began to unrravel the outter wrapping when a rather foul, putrid stench engulfed the kitchen and knocked out my feline companion! "WHat demon cheddar hath been bestowed upon thou" i gasped! When I looked down to inspect the cheese, I was shocked to discover....It wasnt cheese at all. It was the latest nickleback album!!!!!!!

to dumb it down a little more for you;

Wings packs the same level of cheese to that of a nickleback song.

I have to admit that that was some clever shit there....needed that laugh. thumbsup.gif

But I disagree completely. Although Wings may have a slight taste of cheese, Nickelback tunes have a much more nasty taste of cheese. Say ummmmmmm...... what? A heavier cheese, thicker and harder to melt with a bitter lasting taste. I think fromunda cheese fits the bill perfectly don't you? Ever heard of it? It's the cheese "fromunda" my balls.

Don't get your cheeses confused little man. I suspect you weren't at the market for cheese at all. I think you and your cat are closet Nickelback fans. And if one of those skeletons in your closet is beastiality, no wonder your cat passed out. The poor feline fucker probably saw that look in your eye and said "oh no! not the salami again!!!!" happy.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

yeah, i guess I smell a little cheese too man. After all, as afraid as I am to admit it, I find that Avril Lavigne bitch's music to be kinda catchy. And I loved the way her and her band did their cover at the Metallica tribute thingy. So I guess I got a little chees hangin' arond too....

I like Night of Nights without a doubt

But the thing that makes it special for me (I think) is that it has a sound that remind me of the 'Old Live' and also of the 'New Live'. I think that makes it unique. Actually, I don't know a Live song that has both sounds in it (with the new Live, I think about Live after TDTH)
Maybe Like I do comes a little close to have boths, but Night of Nights is really oke to me thumbsup.gif
