I love this song. Had to get used to the flow of the song at first listen. But after that I adored it.
The flow is kinda excentric, but then again, so am I ...hahahahaha

Yes, but the experimental thing on it is, that it is irritating...I love the change in "Like I Do", it's not a "soft" change, too, but it fits well. It is a comfortable change. In "Night of Nights" your finger still tips on the "old" beat, especially after the that drum fill. And not only after the first listen, right!

yes, I fully agree. 'Night of Nights' sounds like a patchwork made of pieces that doesn't fit well together. The quality really varies from one fragment to another. Sadly, the song is not homogeneous at all and the chorus is boring and repetitive.

that's not what I'd call "experimental"... experiments are good when you finally come to a result.

despite of that, I'm still really excited about this new album and I'd say it's worth a listen nod.gif

Hey, Ed said it was experimental! lol.gif
I still wanna hear it in high quality. I'm obsessed with the thought, that in the real version the blending is easier to digest. Hopeless...
I agree the chorus is not really good, it's the thing with nearly every chorus Live did on the last two albums...but it's catchy in a "The River" way and I like it more. Hm..I'm still looking forward to the album, because I know I'll like it. But somehow I'm still yearning for the times before V...

i tried to listen to it twice. The first time my mum barged into my room and demanded I feed the cat. The second time my mate came over and wanted to check his email. So i gave up and will wait for the album.

thanx to SctSamadhi for the song!

This is my favorite of all the new songs that I've heard...but it's not as good as a lot of people are making it out to be. I think it's got more potential than most of what they've written in recent years, but it still feels awkward and horribly undeveloped. It seems like they came up with the idea for the verses and the idea for the chorus sperately, and then couldn't think of anything else to do with either of them so they just threw them together. *shrug* There's one part of the song that I really like, but it just gets an "meh" from me.

Which part of it do you really like? The verse or chorus sections?

As boring as it is, I've to agree. Hearing it in full quality didn't help sarcasm.gif

I forget exactly where it was...in between the first chorus and the second verse, I think. I'm not sure though.

It's one of my favorite off the new album, but I don't know, just doesn't seem right. The chorus definitely seemed off target, and it lost my attention ( Almost to the point of changing the song). What I really enjoyed about the song is its seductive melody in the verses. Very addicting, but it just completely loses me in the chorus.

So far Get Ready / Show is my favorite off the album

I can honestly say that after listening to it a few times...this song is brilliant.

What they did with this song is new territory, but I was drawn in, and I must say it is some of the best stuff I've heard from them in a long time.

Two thumbs way up for me thumbsup.gif
