Yeah, that was directed at me after I asked him.....his reply sorta indicated that I was a six year old for asking that question.

He lied. End of story.

What... you mean they ARE boyfriend and girlfriend? Oooh er! It must have been Chad G that had to wear the bra and panties as he quite obviously got them in a bunch a couple of days back and that explains the dirty laundry complete with skidmarks.

Ed probably didn't lie in his own mind - he knows as well as we do that this 'splitting up' will last as long as it takes for TGF to fall flat on their faces and need the money that will come in from a Live reunion. I'll give 2 to 5 years before Live tour again with the original line up.

QUOTE(april0284 @ Oct 6 2009, 7:38 pm) *

Yeh, I know. In that one song he wrote called "Dance With You," he tells me he wants to dance with me....guess what...he hasn't! What a liar! And that other song..."Waitress," well I thought everybody was good enough for some change? My waitress the other night wasn't.....and my food was NOT brought out on time...I was starved! tongue2.gif

It's like this....there are five sides to the story...

1. CT's side
2. CG's side
3. PD's side
4. Ed's side

and.................

5. THE TRUTH!
(oh....I guess I had better make that six and add sallyinpa's side...since she knows all about Ed and his lying ways)

Yeah - that Ed one is a full of lies! I mean, he told me Run To The Water and find him there. I've been walking down the local canal for years and never seen hide nor hair of him! And as for that Night Of Nights stuff and him giving me his love - pfffft! He probably strung sallyinpa the same line and that's why she's so angry.

And if you listen to sides 1 to 4 and split all the bellyaching down the middle, you might be somewhere approaching the truth. As for our pal sallyinpa's side, nobody gives a shit about hints of second hand tittle tattle.

He lied. End of story.

Or maybe in Ed's mind, that was his reality at the time.

I think it's pretty definite though. There's so much hate going on. But then again....all of this is via 140 character messages. So who really knows?

As for CT and them.....Chad can take iPhone vids and show us Pat with a cow bell, but then in the next breath they don't have a demo vid or any sound to show anybody. He was bitching about that at one stage. Put your money where your mouth is and do a damn iPhone vid of the stuff you are doing.

IMO, TGF are not going anywhere.

Ed at least as a new song displayed publicly. It may not be heropsychodreamer, but it's still a damn song. WITH commercial value. I reckon it may be picked up by the radio stations.

TGF have done squat.

You do realize that it takes a lot longer for band to write a song together than it does for a solo artist to write one by themselves right? Writing music as a band is an extremely time consuming process because you have 4 or 5 opinions and you have to sort out which one is best throughout the course of making every single song. That is why just having one songwriter in a band is so popular, but that is always why Live's music went to shit.

I just chatted to Gracey, nice guy. smile.gif

What I'm wondering is, he said continuing with what Live SHOULD have done in 1999. Does this mean what he/TGF thinks Live should have done INSTEAD of TDTH, then? Or AFTER TDTH? Interesting point, I believe.

spoke to him as well and kinda wondered the same thing - although he did say 'since 2000' to me. your guess is as good as mine - but interesting none the less.

The Distance to Here was recorded and released in 1999 if I remember correctly, so 1999 would be correct.

So Gracey's twitter is locked too now. So how long do you think it will be before we hear anything from these guys again? Maybe they got back to working away on the record, and finally put this bitching behind.

TearSong posted this on SOY, pretty weird:

Hey this might sound like an odd question but has anyone else who commented on Gracey's action on twitter gotten emails or got blocked? My husband commented:

@thechadAgracey there is nothing wrong with a band splitting up, but don't go mudslinging in public please. That is just stupid
@thechadAgracey I am looking forward to TGF but @eddieklive's work - though different than TGF - should not be called sad.

Which is quite a reasonable comment right? I've seen worse.

So yesterday he received an email (sent through is website with a fake name and email:

"I just read your message to Chad Gracey on Twitter. You fucking piece of shit, how dare you comment on something you don't even know about. Chad has the right to behave in any way he wants you fucking Dutch yellow teethed feltcher."

And today he got blocked by Gracey on twitter. Which he was quite stunned about since he's been a fan of LiVE for ages, always had nothing but respect for the bandmembers and is so looking forward to TGF stuff.

Now the blocking and the email are totally different things but I was wondering if anyone else got blocked by Gracey OR received emails by some insane person. Not to happy about the whole thing.

I'm going make a guess (using my previous experience with band split situations) and say that whoever sent the email is a middle aged woman who's far too emotionally attached to Gracey/Live/everything. They're the kind of people who take the side of the minority (in this case, Mista GraySEE) and spout tonnes of biased shit in a really high school kind of way. Any intelligent person with an opinion worth a piece of crap would not send an email like that, so the sender can be discounted as a moron and someone with little grasp of mature reality. I make the guess at it being a woman because of the phrase "how dare you", and also because they tend to be the ones who flip out all crazy and old woman fangirl type behaviour. There's nothing more uncool than a middle aged woman rocker who loves the music and the band just a little too much. If I was an intelligent adult who could deal with things sensibly, maturely and respectfully as things should be done, I would be utterly embarrassed to be associated with and/or supported by whoever sent that email. It's just all kinds of yuck.

Question....Any crazy person can get your email from Twitter? If so I am cancelling my account. I guess I will just stick with Facebook.

I am going to assume that the e-mail and the Twitter blocking were a coincidence, because none of us can see any of his Tweets. It wasn't just that lady's husband who is blocked.

Crazy1, I don't think any crazy person can get your e-mail. It depends on how much info you are willing to share like for example, a webpage that has your e-mail on it.

After all this, I'm glad the guys are closing their personal accounts. Giving away private info on the internet is rarely a good idea, just ask Matthew Good (who's new album is awesome by the way).
