I need to clarify my statements about Ed's solo shows. I think in a normal band context it can be typical for the lead singer to sometimes go out and do some acoustic shows. When things are all good in the band that isn't really a big deal especially if the other guys need a break anyway. But, if the situation is already tense (which seems to be the case) then it can be a really destructive practice.

I think everything we are discussing contributed to it, which means there is no easy "press release" answer.

So when Ed writes his tell all book, do you get a complimentary bag of coffee with the purchase?

At this point, for their sake I just hope TGF actually do bring it. Cause they've been saying that constantly and ragging on Ed's music. So talk about pie in the face if it's all hype and no substance. And I sure as hell want it to be brought.

I don't think Gracey's tweets are far from the truth, childish or not. Ed has gone soft. I doubt I will buy Ed's solo CD and I am very much looking forward to TGF music. I do hope they bring it too!

Agreed! There aren't many debating whether he was right or not. Even Eddie K fans must admit that he is really wussing out.

I did think the "lounge act" comment was hilarious.

As for why the other 3 didn't stand up for themselves over the past few years ... good question ... maybe it was a physical dominance.

Ed: Ok guys, this song is gonna be about water, CG I need a nice steady safe drum beat

CG: Ed .. um, can I make one suggestion I uh

Ed: YOU MAY NOT MAKE A SUGGESTION, LEST YOU GO BACK INTO THE BASEMENT LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE! .... ok now from the top, Think of gentle Jesus ..

It puts the lotion on it's skin! (Silence of the Lambs)

I keep getting asked about the plexi glass. This was to protect Ed's wittle ears. As evidenced by his "lounge act" from holland Ed has.....

Could that be a real post by Gracey or was his twitter account hacked?

Let's hope it was a hacker cuz thats a major slam to Ed.

Ed gracious!!!!!!!!! There isn't a gracious bone in his body, well, atleast regarding his three former bandmates. All things come in good time. The truth will eventually come out. He has so many people fooled. Sorry to burst the bubble but the man is and has been wearing a "mask".

Are you Gracey, are you Gracey, are you Gracey in disguise?

The Gracious Few are acting like a jaded female who hasn't gotten over their ex even though they have a new boyfriend. They need to cut the nonsense because it is borderline pathetic coming from 40 year old men.

Eddie Kowalczyk has a huge ego and I'm sure that he was a dick to the rest over the years, but all four men should feel liberated. They can now make the music that they want without limits. So far, I like Ed's direction and I'm sure TGF will put out some solid rockers as well.

For now, Live is dead, and I think that is a good thing.

And Eddie K is acting like someone who doesn't give a shit that he lost his band and friends of over 20 years. Again I'm not sure which is the better route to take.

Personally I find the TGF route to be far more entertaining. Not that its right or classy or whatever, but you can't deny that it is entertaining.

You don't know that that's the case, though. He's keeping it professional in the public eye, and that's as much as we know.

To my knowledge he hasn't even said ANYTHING about the band going on a break. I may be wrong on that, but it has seemed like he has been in his own little world.

I'm not saying he needs to be doing what CG did, heavens no, but a little acknowledgment would go a long way.

Here's a quote from Ed in July re: the break.

"Live is officially on a break," Kowalczyk said in an interview. "It's not a breakup of the band, but we've been the same four guys doing this since 1990.

"We just split off for now, so we can explore our own projects."
