This song does nothing for me. Not saying it's bad, just I don't care for it. Find it very boring and stale.
But if Ed likes what he's writing then that's all that matters. I just won't go along for the ride if it will be more of the same on his album.

Quite a nice pop tune smile.gif
Catchy, though not setting the world on fire
Ed's voice sounds strong

lol Nick you love everything Ed does. If he raped a little boy you would still call it excellent

I think Hoodie said it best when he told nick that if Ed sold him shit on a stick Nick would compliment him on how crunchy it was.

The song is a step down from DWLF in creativity but a step up in passion. He is really a fantastic singer even if his lyrics are getting stale. I honestly thought I was going to hear the word Zion during the song though.

Ed will always be able to write catchy, nice tunes. But the man lost his balls for a true rock song a long time ago. And the shame of it all (for ROCK FANS) is that the man's voice is fucking fantastic and original...
Still, I am looking forward to his album and will support it - who knows, it may have some surprises on it. "Zion" has actually grown on me a lot. Looking forward to more Ed, and really looking forward to some rock with TGF.

To me, it sounds like a song you could have at a wedding. When I choose to get married, I'll consider it.

Btw, weird to see neither Zion or DWLF on his setlist.

Holy shit, another song with the word Water in it. I didn't see that coming eh.gif . Dude must love himself some H2O!

Sounds find. Seems like a typical post V Live song with different musicians in the background. It will basically be a Live album because Ed was writing everything anyways.

The way I see it, Ed will sound like Live with a twist behind the vocals and TGF will sound completely new. Either you will like it or you won't.

I'll be buying both.

It's totally drink. Don't hear treat at all.

With this song it's more creamy than crunchy! - Right Nick?

By the way, I'll be offline for 2 weeks. Sending my CPU back to the manufacturer to get the screen fixed while it's under warranty.

I originally heard treat as well. Once I ripped the song, the lyrics somehow became clearer. Drinking water makes more sense than treating water anyway.....

I can see why some people will like this song, its generic and pop. Easy to digest and more catchy than most of SFBM.

I find it stale and boring, personally. I didn't like DWLF but at least it wasn't safe and generic.

I agree with those saying that his voice is sounding great these days, I've thought this since Forever came out (which ironically was also generic and pop).

This is not the Live we know but this is Ed we know, especially a la SFBM. I am glad that Ed is going solo to do his stuff and TGF is going to rock (as they say). The song is just ok but too generic to keep it playing for some time.

I could definitely see that. The cool thing is that this song could appeal to Christian and Mainstream audiences because it is non specific.

Mr WTF would like to have a word with you!

Nick I must admit, I do love that you don't care where it's played, to what audience it's played, who it's whored out to or catered to, so long as it gets radio plays and sales ... seriously dude, join a record company, you are their wet dream!
