Misheard Lyrics Options

Don't know what made me think of this, but thought it might be a fun topic. Did anyone ever hear a Live lyric and think it was one thing, only to later learn it was something else ?

Years ago, I always thought the line from Iris was "the feeling of your truth will always break it". It's, of course, "felix of your truth". Years later I still slip up and sing "feeling" outloud, because I did it for so long.

Anyone else ?

From the release of Throwing Copper until the release of Secret Samadhi, I thought the song was called "Selling the Drum". This was based purely on how it was handwritten in the lyric book.

On my home from work I was listening to Live songs on my iPod, and remembered a few more ...

"with medicine supposed to, designed to make you high" (Pillar of Davison) I thought was "with letters sent designed to make you high". Made no sense, so I don't know why I thought that at first.

"Even when the four winds blow she kind of passes by like she don't feel it" (Sophia), I thought was "cold wind".

"all numb in our castle" (Overcome), I thought was "all alone in our castle"

I have a habit of just popping in the CD and not reading the lyrics until later, then I get into a habit of keeping the lyric in my mind
