Turns out Ed sang Lightning Crashes with Wide Awake last night to close out the set. That had to be really cool!

I'm betting Ed will be touring with a band behind his new album.

He did sing Lightning Crashes (I do have video). He just basically tweeted to tell us where to meet him after he sang so we could get a drink and chat. Not sure if James is new. I also noticed his name was not their website. Need to ask around. Will find out and let ya'll know.

It was different without the Chads and Patrick (and Adam, of course). The keyboards really did not do it for me.

Wideawake was great. I've heard them on the radio for years here, but never seen them live. After last night, I am all in. Missed the first band altogether, but th band that came on after WA was also pretty good: called The Soldier Thread.
