Hopefully out of all of this tension will come some great music. Really quite sick of all the negative tweets and little jabs here and there. If you have a complaint, air it. Don't take side shots or discreet messages for everyone to speculate. The new music can't get here fast enough. I actually can't listen to any LIVE music at the current time, seems like it is fake or empty to me now. Hope that fades, but not seeing a happy end there, just two new beginnings.

You know what the paradox is? Ed, in his website, says that he is neither going accoustic nor techno (ala Dirty Water) but rock, while the The Gracious Few was formed in order to rock. Both parties want to rock but they go seperate ways - it seems that something else happened that caused the break(up). But i geuss we will never know.

Yes but, Ed might have thought that SFBM "rocked." Its a very subjective term.

I would disagree because Ed said that Live has gone more mellow in the last years and that he should have put some rockers on SFBM.

In terms of loudness of guitars etc., I think that TGF's album will much more 'rock' than Ed's.
But we'll see! I'm especially curious how a full (backing) band version of 'Zion' will sound!

Yeah if Ed releases an album that takes the freedom and rocking that TGF is all about made it all one step better. The guys would be pissed, surely. lol.gif

I bet Ed's album will rock about like Daughtry rocks. Polished pop rock. While TGF will be more raw, energetic, and less pop.

Personally I would have loved a more acoustic based album from Ed. Not in the way that SFBM was, but more stripped down.
