Cool stuff. I just dumped $40 in my PokerStars account. I'm a poor student type... so this isn't the best hobby. tongue.gif

Doing really well lately, I think my game is coming on in leaps and bounds. The best (and my favourite) play I made today was predicting a player's all in bet was garbage. It was during a $5 Double or Nothing tournament, and he'd just taken a big beat, down to something like $200 with the big blind at the same figure. I predicted that, pissed off from his good hand being defeated and nosediving his stash, if he went all in it was going to be with nothing special. I had pocket 8s at the time. He went all in with his measly sum so I, sat with a decent stack, threw in a big amount, like $800. This made everybody else fold, which was exactly what I wanted. I wagered my 8s would be better than whatever he'd thrown in with, so to make sure it was my decent hand versus his crap, I scared the rest off. I won the hand, knocking him out and taking me closer to victory overall. And I did win overall, as well.

Awesome! kicking.gif

Won $12.50 in a single hand. That's my biggest pot win thus far!

Been experiencing a rough patch lately but working on a system for Omaha that's treating me pretty well. You play any Omaha, Hoodstock?

Heyyy...huge poker fan!!

Used to play all the time...not so much lately. Guess that kinda goes hand-in-hand with going back to school and being poor again.

Used to be on pokerstars all the time...it was hard to get money into my account for awhile over here in the US...is that still an issue??

I love omaha...especially hi/lo...but the beats can be even more torturous than hold'em sometimes.

If you've got good self control (I don't, fucks sake) it's easier to make money from than Hold'em. You can win BIG.... or lose big. Like I sometimes do (read: just now). sad.gif
