Its funny because this whole time, I've always felt that Gracey has been the one making more underhanded comments about Ed more than CT. I honestly feel that CG sounds more bitter!

The Gracious Few.....really? rolleyes.gif

The 3 Gracious have possibly been bitter or dissapointed since V. BoP was an attempt to make up for the departure from pure rock, but SFBM killed everything. I think that if The Gracious Few's debut is a commercial success, even if it goes gold, it will possibly mark the very end of Live, and perhaps of Candlebox. Time wil tell us.

I could be mistaken, but wasn't Gracey denied drums in the video for I Alone...?

(and yes, I know, he was talking about the music, not the clip. it still amused me.)

I can't see their debut album going gold in today's album climate. They would need to sign with a major label and get great financial backing to even come close.

I guess we'll see.

I thought it wasn't that he was denied drums but there was some story that they couldn't get them to the shoot because they didn't fit in whatever it was they were driving or they were running late and couldn't take them or something

Maybe you are right, but the Gracious Few may have some great tunes as demos, which may impress both labels and potential fans. Besides, do not forget that the new band does not come out of the blue but it will attract fans from Live and Candlebox fanbases as a start.

yeah, 'some' fans, but certainly not all their fans.

Btw, someone stating that TGF's debut could possibly mean the end for both Live and Candlebox? Never! Different members of Live has stated different times during this year that Live is not done, and will be back. By that, Candlebox has been on tour throughout the summer and have begun writing their next album, that is slated for a 2010 release. Both bands coming to an end? No way.

they were joking when they said that.

The reason is that the I Alone video was shot on 35mm film at double speed, roughly 50 frames per second, so that when the film is played back at normal speed (24fps) you have slow motion, which adds to the dreamy effect they were going for. Therefore the song is being played twice as fast on the set meaning ed has to keep up when he lip sincs. As good a drummer as chad gracey is, he cant play the drums twice as fast and not make it look stupid.
