New percussionist? I wish we had a recording of that. If there is anything Ed is good at it is finding weirdos to partner with.

If you can find the recording of Ed at the Layne Staley Tribute concert from last weekend, you'll see her with him on a few songs.

She played in almost all the songs. It's not bad, but I'm not sure what to think about these kindsof beat box. It is fun for your basement, but for a record I don't know. Neverthless the concert was good overall. What do you think??

Half of me went NNNOOOOOOOOOOO! and the other half remembered Layne shot his incredible talent up his veins - silly twat but I still love his "I'm bleeding my heart and guts down your earholes" vocals. And Ed there is as good as William Duvall who AIC have replaced Layne with. It's a funny old world.

They should have done a cover of Junkhead "What's my drug of choice? What coffee have you got? I don't get stoned and I like Espresso a lot"

New Blog with some cool info, here is an excerpt:

I've been enjoying the speculation online about the kind of album I will be making- in the form of questions like "Is he going in a techno-world music direction like the song with Karsh Kale?" "He's been playing so much acoustic guitar, is it going to be an acoustic record?" Although I loathe the idea of breaking this very flattering tension/attention by spoiling the surprise, I can give you a flat no and no on both of those! You see the picture associated with this blog? I just renewed my interstate carry permit for this loaded '59 Custom LP and she WILL be coming to Austin to rock!
