Dahlheimer would have been a much better choice.

Although it's not a good marketing name in any aspect, the example you called (searching them on internet) wasnt't really important in 1991 when they chose that name. I think they wouldnt have chosen a name like that post-2000.

The internet searching isn't the best example, but before the band was known it was damn hard to find MJ in a record store. You were looking for "the Live album" which to anyone who wasn't familiar sounded like any band's live album. The band becoming popular helped but I remember having a tough time getting that record only knowing the band name. Whether it is a good name or not is subjective, but from a marketing standpoint it has always had at least some issues.

Its all subjective though. If you separate a band from the music there are really a lot of silly band names out there. Pearl Jam, RHCP, Stone Temple Pilots, etc etc all sound pretty silly outside of the music.

I'm sure Ed is a handful to deal with behind the scenes ... The three guys should have ... slammed him in private. What they are doing now is counter-productive to building their fanbase.

Slamming in public has never quite been a productive procedure. Especially when it's guy on guy slamming.

The Gracey few would have been odd. Meh, again, I'll let the music speak for itself.

The name is shit, but look on the bright side. It's ripe for parodical anagrams. I personally think Whore Fag Cuties would have been a more creative use of those particular 14 letters.

If they sound rubbish, we can rename them I Wrought Faeces

If Chad T is really taking a swipe at Ed - Is Huge Two Facer

If they are really good, they can send a message to all the old Live fans who doubted them - Watch Fogies Rue though I doubt that one will be useful.

I can say for sure that with CT, what you see is what you get. To me, anyway, that is honesty at it's best. To say or act one way in public and another when "the cameras and lights are off" is dishonest. At some point we all have to choose which road to take. It's a personal decision based on moral standards. That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

This whole thing sounds like a fucking fag fest. They all should have just retired to a deserted island ten fucking years ago.

Also, 'slamming' sounds like a gay term. It really does.
