Leave This Town... who's got it? Who loves it?

I do, and I do. I'm still at the stage where I'm digesting it all and mostly listening to my favourites, but I really dig it. Particularly I like Life After You. It's just.... a really loving and lovely song, and kinda speaking volumes to me right now on a personal level.

What about you guys?

Umm, yes. Slightly less polished and some songs take a bit more digesting, but more or less - yes.

I like it very much as well.
I know it's pop-rock, maybe even at the same level as Nickelback, but I like it much more than NB.
My favorites are What I Meant To Say and Ghost of Me, two very nice rockers! (cooincidence that they've the same writers credits? wink.gif).

But for the ones who are looking for progress: no, it's like exactly the same concept as their debut. Maybe some songs have a bit harder guitars, and some songs are a lill harder hitting (the opening song reminds me of Linkin Park), but as Merica says it's not very different.

Leave This Town has now gone platinum, I believe. Congrats to Daughtry! My favourite song is now Supernatural, because it has an amazing pulse to it, and the imagery created in the bridge is fantastic. smile.gif

I'm digging up this old thread to say that if Live could write a song anywhere near as good as "Desperation" off Daughtry's new record then I would be a very happy man.

EDIT: That had a bit more sass than I intended. I just think this song has a whiff of Dolphin's Cry and makes me wish Live could still write bangers like they once did.
