Gotta admit, had Ten have a good few months (since Badman referred to it as the Throwing Copper of Pearl Jam) and I've tried to listen through it a few times but failed. Even Jeremy, which is pretty much lauded by all, I don't get it. Don't care for his voice and the music just seems... I dunno... too alternative and lacking meoldy. A hook to grab onto. I can't find any. sad.gif

Impossibly strange. Judgung by your tastes, I thought PJ was one of your faves.

I know, you'd think I'd dig it. I'm sure many of the old skoolers will kill me for liking post-grunge without masturbating over their roots but... I dunno. Just don't get it. Not saying it's crap musically or lyrically or any of that, but I just don't connect to it. Think it's the alternative stylings, it's not as hooky as I usually like.

Although I've never gived PJ a chance, I think that when people say Ten is the TC of Pearl Jam, they simply mean it's their best/most popular album. I don't think it's a comparison about the music on both discs.

Yeah, but when he said it I thought he might have meant that it was such a powerful album of brilliant songs from start to finish that really get into your skin... ala TC. Maybe he did mean that but, regardless, I didn't dig it. lol.gif
