I think you are assuming that the Chads posted that quote in a Tweet as an attack on Ed. No one knows that, and I don't think the Chads have posted anything that can conclusively said to be negative about Ed. They've posted excitement for their new project, but so has Ed. If I wanted I could interpret Ed's excitement over his solo material as a knock on the other guys.

As for the mockery thing, maybe it was mean spirited and maybe they were just having fun. Who knows?

I'll preface this one by saying I am one of the first to bash Live after they became corny girl rockers but what in this video tells you they are goofing off?

Check out Pat making faces and basically sabotaging the song. If they didn't want to play Forever, they should have had the nuts to not play it. They could have let Ed do a solo version as the first song of the encore. Instead, they gave less than a half-assed performance and looked disinterested to the audience.

Alright, I'm going to make some assumptions based on Ed's tweets/blogs since apparently that's what you're into.

I don't think Ed gives a flying fuck that this band split because he hasn't even mentioned it. At least Chad T. seems to give a damn about their band and fans enough to write a blog post about it. Ed cares more about saying LOL and getting us to buy coffee (????) than the 3 friends he grew up and made records with. It's a damn shame too because he isn't near the songwriter alone than he is with those guys as evidenced by the lagging sales of their last three albums.

Yeah I echo this. They were just enoying themselves, goofing around a little. There's nothing at all to suggest they're taking the piss out of Ed, they don't even look at him or motion his way.

Its one thing to have fun on stage. Its another thing to ignore the audience and joke around in your own little world during a song. They seemed bored by the song and wanted no part in playing it.
