I think most of you already seen this documentary, but I didn't. And I liked it, as it is about the band in 2000 and everything they've done in the 90ies. It contains A LOT of (at least for me) unseen interviews (with all members and their family over the years), footage combined with an 2000 interview with Ed. I mean everr seen Taylor performing in a MJ-shirt, Ed playing snooker with HUGE glasses (and no sun glasses haha), Pat saying he doesn't have a clue what the hell Ed is singing about ("never ask the bass player"), Taylors father talking about his son or the on set footage of the Lakini's Juice video?
Although it must be like 10 years old, someone uploaded it very recently.

It really reminds me what a great band Live is... or was.
Especially part 6, the end, makes me kinda sad thinking they (maybe) quit or split up for some time now, whearas in the interview they say they will always do this (the music). Taylor even says "It's this band or no band at all". Ed: "The four of us as Live will always go on".
Although the end makes me really sad (because what they're saying doesn't count anymore now), this documentary convinced me that it's not over. I just know it. The band between each other, the chemistry, the growing up together, it's really something that will bring them back at later period. It may be 2 years, maybe longer, but this video is the proof for me Live is not done. They will be back.

Whatever, watch it!

that was great, if not a little sad. Liked when ed was talking about being just a normal guy with problems, and not this enlightened being like the perception of him at the time was. Someone should put together a docco covering the second half of their career now, i think there would be some interesting differences in the "chemistry" of the group. Not to mention the inevitable break/break-up.

Watching the vids now and all I can think of is how under appreciated Secret Samadhi was when it came out. That was just a great CD.

Wow, what an awesome show that was. Really just wow... MJ through to TDTH was such a special special period, an amazingly creative, spiritual journey. What changed between TDTH and V? it just... after watching that with the interviews with the guys etc... it just seems night and day. And not like SS to TDTH change of style... just completely like the band changed.

Help!

It will only let me access parts 1 and 6.

The other videos all say that they are disabled for for the country I am in!

What do I do??

It's quite sad to see the difference between his raw, untamed first attempt at operation spirit, how cool that was, how real that was, and then the change to the new song dirty water, lotus flower.

His vocals have changed big time.

Thanks for putting this up. I just wish I could see all six parts of it!

Man, 2000 was a reaaally good point for Live. They had 4 cracking, different albums behind them, all so creative and brilliant and the guys looked great, they were decent normal cool guys...

... what changed? lol.gif Not that it's *bad* now, but just, you know, different. What happened between TDTH and V? I love V, don't get me wrong, but that's where it all changed.

Ed moved to another area or something? tongue.gif it had something to do with that.

However. 90ies were really good for Live. 00ies not so. 10ies will (hopefully) be again goor for them nod.gif
