Could be worse... he could be saying "lord" or "child".

Really? From the more recent acoustic performances I've seen from Ed, he seems to be doing quite good. The voice is generally lowering and there's a hint of blues/gospel in there. The only thing I've heard that I didn't like was the use of "oh lord" and "child" at random times, which makes me boil inside. Voice wise though... I dunno... doesn't seem too bad to me?

I said that in another post. His Tin Angel show sounded great. But that's a rarity nowadays. Compare that show to the gay ass songs he put up on his Eddiek site. Like night and day.

I just can't listen when he sings like a gay ass fucking fairy, which is almost all the time nowadays. Great performer my ass. He used to be. Now he just makes me want to laugh and puke in his face at the same time.

Fair enough, and I have to admit, *some* of his Eddie K Live videos have been a little too cheese laden...

I have a right to be turned off by that. You don't have to agree, but vulgar language in a serious interview isn't the best way to represent yourself. Throwing the f-word arbitrarily into your lyrics isn't edgy, its' ignorant and lame. Sadly that has been Candlebox's way for quite some time. I'm hoping he reigns it in for the new album.

"Some fucking change!"
"Come on motherfucker!"
"You little fucker!"
"if you don't know the words, fuck it!"
"calm the fuck down"

Live must also be ignorant and lame, considering those are all quotes from their lyrics.

It is your right to be turned off by it, but that doesn't mean it is ignorant.

He also says "Get the FUCK Up!" in concert during Lakini's Juice.

Did you guys know that there were children in the audience - and he took his shirt off and jumped up and down topless.

It's blatant paedophilia, that is.

A good portion of society considers excessive vulgarity to be ignorant. Live does have songs with curses, but if you check out the band's greatest hits album, its not laced with vulgarity. I've never heard Ed curse during an interview. You can saw what you want about the guy's views, but he has more class than that.

I'm not saying that I never use vulgarity in private, but doing so in a public interview makes a person sound ignorant.
