Judging by the tweeds I gather they haven't yet rehearsed with the new singer but will soon.

"the new band will be rehearsing with the new singer and writing more songs sometime in August. VERY exciting time people!!!" (ChadAGracey)

1. The name is already decided, the band is simply called Dalheimer
2. The mysterious singer is Gavin from Candleboat
3. CG said he was listening to the 5 completed demos in his car.
4. I don't know
5. Very soon, probably August 10th
6. August 14th
7. Pat's not allowed near computers anymore. (I sure miss his Q&A sessions on his website).

lmao lol.gif

I reALLY think the singer might be someone from their past or from the neighbourhood, as they are heading to York to rehearse. It could also be Adam Taylor. Or Adam Kowalczyk (which I hardly will be glad for as I want another Adam's solo record)...

I put this in another thread but thought it was appropriate here too. I saw Candlebox in Chicago and Kevin reported they would be working on another album (they are on tour until the end of the Fall). That doesn't really mean much as I'm sure he has time for a side project, but as a Candlebox fan too I was pretty glad to hear they'll be recording again.

Unless the singer already has an established fanbase, I think the new band will have a real tough time catching on.

If Kevin Martin is the new singer and is just going to use the new band as a side project, the guys are making a huge mistake getting involved with him , in my opinion. However, if the new lead singer was a nobody, why would the guys have to wait to name him?

The bulk of Candlebox's tour ends early September. I figure they are holding back to avoid the guy getting booed off the stage at his own shows. Just a thought.

Again Nick, you're looking at this through the old record sales/radio play eyes ... maybe fame and glory isn't the main priority, maybe they just want to make music and if it catches on then so be it. The guys I imagine aren't exactly strapped for cash and im sure they'll still make money, so if it is this candlebox dude and he is treating it as a side project then so what?

The lead singer would be Trent Reznor.

That's the reason why Nine Inch Nails is on their 'Wave Goodbye' tour.

What if the lead singer is Michael Jackson and that's why he cancelled his London shows?

I wonder if CT will lend his vocals more to this project?

I think some of you are looking at this differently than I am. Does anyone else remember back in the day when groups like Temple of the Dog and Mad Season were formed from other bands? The members from two different bands would get together and put out a record, tour, then go back to their own band business.

If it is indeed the lead singer of Candlebox then I would imagine it is a similar project to that.

Sure it could be a brand new band that stays together for 15 years, but given the information so far I would tend to view it this way.
