Wow!

Awesome song! I love it when my favourite band can still bring out really amazing music like this after all these years. Class!

I'll second that. I'm excited to hear a live song that is so new and fresh after all these years. Great song! lol.gif lol.gif lol.gif music.gif music.gif music.gif

Unlike the people on here that have the album and won't share, I received this song because somebody else actually did so if you drop me an email at rocman2402@yahoo.com I might have a present to send back to you.

I don't like it. It doesn't flow well.

And why was this thread deleted yesterday?

Because the live community has become full of ****. nod.gif Nobody wants to share and when someone is willing to share the thread is deleted. I have waited a long time for this album and already pre-ordered 2 copies. Our internal sharing of the album won't do jack**** to album sales. nod.gif

I hate it... This damn chorus is stuck in my head! lol.gif
Naa, like it very much...It's probably very poppy, but not unoriginal. It has an atmosphere, which I've missed in Live's material lately, the verses are good in that aspect.

But I've got to agree, the tempo change in the chorus is very irritating at first listen. These changes are not unusual, but this is a weird one. (Don't know how to explain, but it's not half time...perhaps 75% as fast as before) I think the irritation is a little bit supported by the quality of the recording...Perhaps I'm just stupid...

After hearing "Nights of Nights" in full, it has to be the mentioned experimental song (for LIVE) and not "All I Need". That one sounded very generic in the clips.

I actually like it. The arrangement is interesting where it start out at a faster tempo, then abruptly slows down. It almost sounds like the track skipped when you first hear it. I dig the guitar in it.

Yeah that's what I meant by the song not flowing. I guess we'll see if anyone else agrees.

I won't listen until the US album release. So don't expect my review anytime soon.

I respect that. On the other hand, I will, and I will also buy the album.

My bitterness isn't over you guys listening to the new material....i think that is totally cool. I'm just mad that Epic is dicking around with LIVE new album.

I understand what you mean. In the beginning i thought "What!", but i have actually come to like the change in tempo. What i like the most about "Night of Nights" is that it's a bit experimenting, and that the band is a bit more in front.

that's not the first time they do a change of tempo in the middle of a song.
if you listen closely to... 'Like I Do', you'll notice a minor (but oh soooo good!) change of tempo right after the bridge, when they play the chorus again (I'd say at 3:08).

the change of tempo in 'Night of nights' is irritating... not only at first listen. I don't think such an effect has its place in this tune. The verses are brillant (the guitar, the drums, the backing vocals...), but the chorus just won't fit with the whole thing.

overall, a nice tune anyway! can't wait to hear it LIVE!!!!!!

Yes, but the experimental thing on it is, that it is irritating...I love the change in "Like I Do", it's not a "soft" change, too, but it fits well. It is a comfortable change. In "Night of Nights" your finger still tips on the "old" beat, especially after the that drum fill. And not only after the first listen, right! You have to get used to it slowly...and that is not a bad thing, makes the whole thing more interesting in that case!

The second thing is: On this album, what would you call relatively more experimental? "All I Need" or "Night of Nights"? Ok, let's here the full version of ALL songs, first...Before it's only speculation.
