Dance With You was pretty awesome. I think this is a great outlet for Ed and will not only help him spiritually but the band as well. In a funny way, he reminds me a lot of Bob Ross. He seems super happy about everything, but more than that just at peace with everything. I could totally see him putting painting videos on YouTube in a few years, putting a happy tree here and another one there. This is great and I hope we get more of this in addition to new Live.

Just watched DWY and it was pretty good. Still, I think between his religious stuff on twitter (and to a lesser extent, writing "lol"), calling himself Eddie K on his own website (and "the EK" in a video, that was awful) and especially the first few videos he posted.......... I'll never look at him the same again. And sadly, that's not really in a good way. He's connected which is great, but I don't really like what I'm seeing of him. All mystique has been shattered away.

Personally the mystique of Live for me disappeared a few years ago .. cant think of any specific event but just gradually over time. I think there really was a mystique in a way in the earlier years which I still feel listening to the older songs .. but now they're just dudes making music. So whilst the overly religious thing from Ed annoys me, and the happy-happy-joy-joy attitude is also a bit freaky I'm not that upset about it ... reaching out to the fans is an awesome thing. I think you gotta go one of 2 ways .. either gaurd the mystique well like Morrissey for example and don't let anyone in and keep them all guessing. Or be totally open and have no pretense about who you are .. and I think that's whats happening here. A prime example is Ozzy Osbourne ... the prince of darkness and all that stuff, and also the guy who allowed himself to be filmed picking up dog shit and battling a fire he built next to the sea and stupid stuff like that ... can't expect people to still believe in the mstqiue any more after that and so long as thats not what Live tries to do then I think it's cool.

I have been pretty impressed with these so far, probably because I was expecting to hear Lightning Crashes and other obvious choices. The piano was a nice touch!

I don't like any of them. Sound to me as if he's trying too hard. Ed is a thousand times the singer he sounds in these videos. Actually quite ear cringing to me.

They definitely aren't the best performances, I am just glad he is pulling out different songs and different versions after so many years of the same setlist over and over.

That Bob Dylan song was played at my uncle's funeral three weeks ago. Thanks for posting that for your fans, Ed.
