Believe reminds me of a poor man's Change. The choruses are pretty similar but overall Change is a much better song. I still think this song would fit perfectly on any of Sevendust's albums. An odd sound for sure!

yeah, I listened to this song again today. Not only the music is better than before, I'm also begin to diggin the lyrics more now. It's like there's a 'big theme' again ala White, Discussion.

Diffrenece though is that Ed here says that we still have a choice. Where W,D was telling us the end of the world is coming, Believe is supposed to tell us it's not yet the end (but only if we believe in something again).

I second that. This is another song that basically reflects on social reality. Good for Ed you has written the song.

After giving it a few more listens and letting it stew, I really dislike this song. I guess Live is finally catching up to their contemporaries - from 1999. Sounds like some crap from Staind, just with less miserable singing.

as we heard Believe with the whole band, and TMUTZ only when he performed solo, I think we can expect TMUTZ will be released on his upcoming solo record.

It does sound like drowning and make sense but if you watch the video of him performing it, esp the one I recorded, you can see him doing the "motorcycle rev" sign with his hands. I do believe he said "drivin" to the point of no return.
