My team ^^

I follow the game with a passion.

I count myself as a very passionate Arsenal supporter, I have my reasons too, you see in the AFL I support the Bombers, so its only natural I also support the Gunners!

I support Richmond in the AFL (although may regret telling you that this side of Saturday) but that has nothing to do with why I like Chelsea in the EPL.

That allegiance started when I was dating a girl by the same name. Let her go a lonnnnnng time ago now, but just can't break away from the club.

Oh my Allegience with Arsenal is scratchy at best, I do enjoy watching their .. um .. striker when he goes for goal, but sometimes its stopped by the other side's goalie, oooo that really makes me mad!

On to this Saturday though, I wouldn't be so sure, we have made a habbit of beating the teams we're supposed to lose to, and then getting flogged by the teams we should beat the week after, I know we lost to the saints, but 19 points is as close as anyone's gotten this year and it was practically a win tongue.gif

lol you can "go saints" all you want, the truth is that St Kilda is allergic to success and will never be successful, you'll probably even beat Geelong in round 13 only to choke in the finals.
It's funny how usually you go for the underdogs, I want to the Doggies do well, I cheered on Sydney's premiership win in 2005, I want to see Freo make the finals, but for St Kilda, a team thats only ever won one flag and that was by one single point, I just hope they keep losing .. actually maybe it's not St Kilda I hate, but Stephen Milne, yeah i think that's it.

Hoodstock: The NFL is starting to get more exposure over here. They occassionally play games at Wembley stadium and these are televised on British tv, as is the Superbowl final. I watched that (the one recently with the Cardinals/steelers) and actually found myself enjoying it once I picked up the rules. Was a really good game actually. But it'll have a hard time catching on here because football is so massive in Europe, and we also have rugby which is very popular and is like American Football but without all the OTT headgear and pads, stop-start game mechanics and fucking intermissions/adverts every 10 minutes.

QUOTE(dangum @ May 19 2009, 9:54 pm) *

There are multiple divisions in each country and teams from lower divisions can be promoted to a higher division if they reach the top of their league and can also get relegated to a lower league if they are down the bottom. In the EPL, the bottom 4 clubs are relegated to the next division below each season.

Correction: It's the bottom 3 clubs.

Keep it up. You must also know Arshavin for now, right? I consider him the god of nowadays. And the cup in my sig was won thanks to him for sure. I am proud to be from the same city as Andrei.

Arshavin provided the boost we needed to overtake Aston Villa and claim 4th spot and Champion's League qualification. He scored 4 in one game against Liverpool a few weeks ago. He has a tendency to go missing in games but he is getting better. Great to have him here lol.gif

I come from a family of Chelsea fans. Next to Manchester United they are my most despised team. I'm sure your girlfriend was nice tho! (or maybe not, you did dump her...)

Nice, a bunch of Gunners fans. thumbsup.gif

Before, I thought my favorite team would be wherever Henry is, but it didn't happen.. it's still the Gunners all the way for me.

Common enemy in United. Not surprised they took it out (again!) this year, but damn. Bastards.

As for Chelsea... She was nice to look at, yes.

He studied with a friend of mine. And as soon as he gave up smoling and drinking he was at the Zenit bench. In a month he was in the starting line-up tongue.gif

hehe great quote here from Arshavin...

5. From lambada
I have a question for you: What does a word “Motherland” mean to you as a patriot? Andrey, I wish you and your family good luck, happiness and prosperity!

Arshavin: In one word? St. Petersburg.

edit:

and...

18. From 15031994
Hi, my name is Nastya. I’m almost 14 years old, I like you very, very much, because you are very, very handsome and play football like no one else. I think of you all the time, write poems about you and love you very very much! What should I do?

Arshavin: Homework! smile.gif
