see, that's the problem... to a non-believer... when anyone that is a Christian even brings up the fact that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour... they think they are trying to "push" their beliefs on someone. i'm not doing that. i'm telling you what i believe and why i believe it. and, for me to want the same for anyone else is my decision. if you think me being happy for ed, that he found Christ, is pushing my beliefs on you... then you're the one with the problem.

because, Jesus said that He is THE TRUTH, THE WAY, AND THE LIFE... in other words, believing in Jesus is believing He is the only way(religion that will lead) to Heaven. and if you believe that, then you believe anything else or any other way or religion is false.

and, when i say "can't have tolerance for other religions" i'm not saying that i can't tolerate the people that believe in other religions. i'm sure there are many "good people" affiliated with all types of religions. but, being a Christian, i don't believe being "good people" will get you into Heaven. being a Christian isn't about being "good"... it's about knowing you're not and will never be "good enough" to get into Heaven by your own doings. In comes Jesus.

i know there are plenty of people that reject Christ for, what they would consider, "good reasons". but, i think a lot of people reject Him cause they don't understand Him.

i'm sure there are many "good people" affiliated with all types of religions. but, being a Christian, i don't believe being "good people" will get you into Heaven. being a Christian isn't about being "good"... it's about knowing you're not and will never be "good enough" to get into Heaven by your own doings. I hope you don't speak for the majority of Christians. You seem very close minded. You need to accept that not everyone has the same views or religious beliefs as you.
