I did a video recording of the entire song Believe. I have no idea how it turned out and if the video or audio quality is any good.

Just Got Back from the show The new +LIVE+ song "Believe" is a rock out song!

Daughtry was there also and sang "I Alone" with the band!

Love the updated set list! Sweet show!

most reviews compare it with Purifier, some said a little harder/rockier/harder riffs

I was at the show last night.

"Believe" surprised me. I was expecting another SFBM-type pop song, or a BoP-type rock song without much heart, but instead found it to be a genuinely solid rock song that sounds (upon first listen) like something that could have been on Throwing Copper or even Secret Samadhi.

Many people are compaing it to Purifier. I'm not a huge fan of Purifier, which is perhaps why I don't want to put Believe in the same category. I see why the connection would be made -- they are both more rock than pop, etc. -- but I think that Believe is a much, much better song. I also think that its tone and structure are very different from Purifier. It's hard to explain since I don't have much background in chords or technical jargon, but it seems to have a heavier guitar sound and much more intensity lyrically and vocally.

I tried to pay attention to the lyrics but it's all a blur now. I know that the chorus includes lines that go something like:

It's time to believe again
I'm talking to you, my friend
If this is not the end
Then blah blah blah...(?)

I didn't record it, but I'm looking forward to Mets' video. Be patient and satisfied with the fact that he's going to post it up at all. It obviously takes some effort to sneak a camera into any venue, and the House of Blues happened to be patting people down last night, so I'm surprised he got it in.

Nice to see an old-school FoL member contributing to the rest of the community. smile.gif
