Live has said they would release a new album this year, but with a new tour being rapidly scheduled and released it looks like this might not become a reality.

The fact is that Live hasn't release an original full length studio album since Songs From Black Mountain (June 6th, 2006 (US)) and they are currently not signed with a major lable. Perhaps they are done with full length albums. The last two releases show that trend. Maybe they could post a digital release that could be physically ordered like Radiant Sea. Whatever they decide to do, it hasn't been clearly expressed to the fans (at least in a garunteed way).

What do you think the future holds for Live and new original full length albums?

they're still only what, 38 years old? plenty of time for more albums in the future, even if it is independently released.

after RS we all maybe got the impression that this was a sign for the things to come...
but releasing the Paradiso DVD+CD in the shops gives me the impression that they aren't done with releasing physically albums.

After Brokeback Mountain, I'm not sure I want to hear any new shit from this band anymore. Prifier was a little bit better, but still sucked ass when I think about what this band is capable of.

Personally, I'd like to hear a release of b sides. Lift me Up, Susquehanna, Photograph and quite a few others would make some great sales I think.

I dunno.. I think the last option is highly probable at this point.. or maybe add another one to it for a couple more down the road.
