Not particularly. I think the 2 big tracks in this collection that everybody would be most interested in hearing are Overcome (full band) and the studio version of Still Aroused.

You'd be right there.

Overcome (full band) is awesome!! I can't stop listening to it.

Thanks for uploading these.

The few people who have somehow managed to acquire these recordings are very protective of them, but rest assured, they DO exist.

Isn't that a bit odd, seeing as those songs are 10 years old as of this year?

Just asking...

A soundboard or studio version of Helter Skelter does not exist. There are a couple of mp3s out there, but only average sound quality..

Some great stuff in this thread, thanks heaps for that. The Overcome version with the full band is strange but good.

You're halfway wrong on this. You're probably correct that nobody (except the band, perhaps) has studio versions of these songs, but live versions DO exist. The quality is pretty crappy (though not completely unlistenable), and the few people who have somehow managed to acquire these recordings are very protective of them, but rest assured, they DO exist.

yeah, you're right. After I posted this (so I haven't heard about it before my post) I heard about a video of New City that was shown by Jimmy (I think it was on a Dutch Fanclub day, if I remember correctly). That must be a video recording of it in the Cameleon club 98?

I think Still Aroused is one of the worst things I've ever heard from Live, and I'm glad that they were smart enough to leave it off of a studio release.

I imagine Live made a choice between Sun and Still Aroused, considering they share the same chord progression and vocals on the breakdown.

I think the point is that many people dont like Stil Aroused so much, because it dsoenst sound like a finished song, or just mixed badly, I don't know. Same with Don't Wait. For me, Don't Wait is just awesome (despite the not so good quality) and Stil Aroused is just very "oke" (especially because before Dan posted all the TDTH tracks in this thread, I didnt even know they recorded this song in studio at all!).

Now that LIVE has broken up and we already have been given studio recordings of Photograph and Mallrat..... do you think we will ever be able to hear New City and Change? Ive heard the low quality version of Change but Im sure there is a better one out there somewhere. I remember Jimmy Lang telling me once after a show that New City was a song similar to Stage but thats all I have ever heard about this song.

Cmon someone enlighten us!

New City got played in Holland in 2008. I mean, not PERFORMED, but PLAYED. If I recall it right, it was in Stairway To Heaven, a rock bar, where Jimmy Lang was spinning rare video footage and New City was among those
