oh god now Chad's done it, everyone is going to be adding to their posts with a "by the way chad since you read this, I want Live to do x" ... I'm willing to bet Taylor and possibly the others have seen this board before, its interesting that after all the arguments/discussions and such that THIS is what promts one of the band members to write. You know what would kick ass now is if they went ahead and called the next album Desert Solitaire, that would kick so much ass haha

I think they may read for a laugh. But most likely just sake their heads in disgust at the lack of civil, constructive discussion.

Personally, all I want from any artist is for them to give it everything they've got as far as creativity goes.

I'll go on open record any day and say I don't think Live have come close to doing that for years. Their music has become bland and boring and I'm disappointed with it. The soul is gone from the music, not to mention the bass and drumming as well.

The creativity is just gone for some reason. The music has become a bunch of three minute, Chorus-verse chorus structure with nothin in between. Where are the basslinrs ala PLOTR, TBD and Stage? Where's the anthemic structure or anything resembling real guitar work?

I hope whoever reads this realizes that radio doesn't give a fuck about them anymore. Start Jamming some real instrumentation and start letting shit flow. Lets here some flat out bluesy, bass ridden rock that kicks some fucking ass. Sit back, smoke a jay and let the riffs flow into your mind and extend them on the guitar.

I want to hear the creativity in their new music that went into the creation of the Walk The Line cover. Not this three minute pop shit that has no soul, no bassline and no real guitar work. I wouldn't want to remembered as a band that rocked pretty good, to a band that let one guy turn it into pansy garbage that nobody wants to listen to. I'd want to be remembered for my talent and creativity and the fact that even if radio wasn't listening, I made some really good music that took a lot of blood and guts to make.

So there you go Eams, I actually am asking Live to do something!!

First: whoho, at least one of the bandmembers reads this board. I didn't know about that!
I mean, I expected them checking (maybe) SOY sometimes, a few times in a year but I didn't know they spent time outside that forum. THEY CAN READ OUR STUFF!

But releasing they read this forum sometimes (at least Chad), and must been here before, I feel ashamed when I think back to some posts that were made here in the past. In some posts people were very harsh about the band, I really hope non of the members have read all that.

On the other hand, it's nice they read this forum, cuz theré are a couple of guys/girls on here that could describe very good what most of the Live fans want to hear and what they don't wanna hear in the future. I hope the band adopt some of these ideas.
