I swear, the default settings for the rep system work absolutely fine, you don't need to change anything,

I like the idea that people with higher posts counts and have been here longer have a bigger impact (positive or negative) on reputation, it saves from people just trolling I guess on reputation points that dont really post here. Also a good way for long standing members to I guess "approve" newer members and make them feel more welcomed by the old gaurd or something, having it be all 1+ or 1-, means you'll get nowhere fast.

I like the idea of only being able to give rep if you leave some sort of comment for that person, saves people just randomly pressing the rep button for no real reason.

There is currently is no way to force a user to leave a comment. You would need to hack the mod code if you wanted to add that facility.

A Shoutbox has also been added. If you don't want to see what's in the Shoutbox, just click on the "-" link located to the right and it will minimize.
Press the "+" link to display the Shoutbox.

Sorry, i'm not sure how to move it. I've been reading the limited documentation and working through a 150 page thread but I haven't had any luck so far.
