I think you are referring to the part where they play Running to stand still, a cover by U2. They played this several times in 2004, at least I remember seeing it when I saw them during the Awake-tour.

hehe yeah he commented several times on the meaning of TDC since 1999. He also often mentioned it was 'about sex on the beach', and added '...not the drink but the actual thing'

hahaha, yeah, you mean the Pinkpop 2000 version? There are videos out there of Pinkpop 2000. For example: I got the part of TSUFL on Pinkpop 2000 from Liverockspace (when it still worked). The server is down at the moment, but maybe TDC is on there as well (but again, can't check that as it's offline at the moment).
