Live's new single - Forever Options

I like Live being the band no one knows about but me... I would be fine if it didn't sell. One thing is for certain though and that is that we aren't going to get another SFBM.

Forever was released as a single on Netherlands version of Itunes on October 31st. I'm not sure what other countries have the song, but I'm guessing it will be released in the US this week.

Also the song IS NOT presently going for adds in the rock format, only Triple A and Hot A/C.

Forever had 6 new station adds this week in total. While 3 adds out of the gate is good for Hot A/C, 3 new stations for Triple A was tops in the format. I think this song has a good chance on Triple A radio with possible growth to Hot A/C, so keep requesting!

I think regardless of how this does in the US, Live will be releasing a new album in 2009.

In the US, Live is now on their own label being distributed by another indie label. Music sales are down in general, so expectations for huge sales on this project can't be expected. Also, music dvd's or concert albums generally don't sell well in the US. They are basically new album placeholders.

Radio Stations here have caught on fast and you'll hear the song played all the time. In fact, they're playing it to death.

2009....I have many, many hopes for 2009. I'd like to kill and bury 2008 damned fast. Most god awful year I have ever lived through in all of my 33 years. This one was a mother fucker.

Forever is sorta like hope - light at the end of the tunnel for me. The dark of the night the bright of the dawn.....Dawn? You mean there's a DAWN????? Really?? Well fuck, why didn't someone tell me!!? Hey, there will be a dawn!! Dawn means an end to the friggin shit of 2008.

Purifier is my national anthem at the moment. SEND YOUR FIRE, PURIFY ME!!! And fucking murder 2008 into oblivion so that it never resurfaces again. These songs are like the ending of something seriously grim with a hint of this light at the end of the tunnel. I survived and ended this year with a little hope, a sparkly little bit of light at the end of it.


2009's album had better be a good one. Or else.

I really like how the drum beat digs into your chest on this one. I miss the rawness of something like "Lakini's Juice" but this one still drives now I just need to put myself into a meditative trance until the new CD comes out. Most likely by pacing back and forth outside the store chain smoking saying, "C'mon c'mon"

it seems that people are more creative when stress is going on (at least once the bong smoke has lifted) and with the economic climate and the US presidential election I'll be curious to see what sort of albums are released a little ways down the road
