Are you talking about NoTP? The first show is on October 24, AFAIK.

CT has added this to his blog:

QUOTE
I had a chance to preview “Live at the Paradiso” in 5.1 surround and its incredible! Our friend Ronald Prent handled mixing duties and delivered one of the best sounding Live recordings I’ve ever heard. There is not one single overdub or alteration of the live performance. I personally can’t stand watching live DVD’s that are virtually studio albums by the time they hit the streets. You won’t get any of the nonsense on this project. It’s raw, loud and Live. I can’t wait to release it (November 11), as I am sure our fans will love the impact the film and recording makes.

As promised there is new material on the record, “Forever” is being spun at radio stations around the Globe and “Purifier” features the legendary Blues Traveler, John Popper. You can preview the recording “Forever” at www.friendsoflive.com - hope you enjoy it as much as I do – there is more to come (wink)!

New studio album in 2009.

allright, I hope that's not just the plan, but really already planned somewhere early 2009!

when reading Chad's post, I also liked reading about Chad wanted the DVD 'raw, loud and Live'. That's also one of the reasons that I think Chad would do a much better job by producing their new album, than Jim wirt did with BoP and SFBM...

Purifier sounds a lot like "God Don't Ever Change"
Taken from FOL:

You can preview 30 seconds of each track from Live at the Paradiso at this link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001J4BCC...24781084&sr=8-1

wow, thank you! The Chad T guitar is back, ohw yeahhh! rockin.gif It's def. gonna rock more than Forever did.
Although I like Forever very much, I was really scared that this would be an indiaction on all the future Live songs: 'the Mystery-formula', a pop song, throw some strings in it and Ed vocals being the mainpart. But hearing this 30 seconds of Purifier let me believe that the really popsound/daughtry sound in Forever was intentionally made because they knew it would be a single when they made Forever. Compare Purifier with teh sound on SFBM: it's much more harder/rockier/faster/even a lill more angry! Makes me not only lookin forward to that song, but also to studio album no.8 in 2009!!!

Is it true that Vanguard Records is only distributing this DVD, but Live is actually releasing it on their own label? How does that work? Does Vanguard push the single or does Live do it on their own? How does it work overseas?

Maybe this is why all the release dates our screwed.
