Live LIVE in November

LIVE will release a double-disc package November 11th called Live at the Paradiso -- Amsterdam. Ironically, this is the Pennsylvania-based band's first-ever live offering. Frontman ED KOWALCZYK says, "The filming and recording of Live at the Paradiso was a magical process from start to finish. Considering our namesake, we took it pretty seriously."

The CD includes 16 tracks, including hits like "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone" and "The Dolphin's Cry." The DVD contains 17 tracks.

I just wish I knew how to connect the radio to the computer and record it directly. For better quality and all that. If I stream 5fm on the computer, it 'buffers' right during the middle of everything and then I get really annoyed.

Anyway, will try with my digital recorder and see what happens.

These were recorded when an SA DJ hooked up with Ed telephonically pre 46664.

This DJ (Grant) is a bit of a dork though. He left the radio station right after the 46664 concert and when I emailed him for good quality clips of the interview preconcert, he told me that he's not associated with 94.7 anymore so I can get lost. But he did say that it was an incredible honor speaking to Ed. Have to give him half a brownie point for that!

Anyway, is the interview I recorded. Same night, part one and part two. Grant interviewed him and they are uncut.

This special event will occur at the Tuschinski theater (the Dutch 'Chinese theater') on November 2nd at 3PM.

Tickets are 30 EURO each and include the ability to see the "LIVE at the Paradiso – Amsterdam" DVD for the very first time on big screen with movie theater sound. You will also receive a copy of the CD/DVD combo pack to take home. The band will also be present at this premiere event because what good is a movie premiere without the stars of the show right?! There will also be a contest in which some people who purchase tickets will be selected to win VIP pass upgrades which include arriving in a limo, reserved seating, and a meet and greet at the event.

I came across a little different cover for the DVD, in which the LIVE logo is not white but a different colour



maybe the previous cover was wrong, or maybe there's a special edition (especially when you watch the left corner on the top, but I can't read what it says.
I'm glad the dvd+cd combo gets appearently a real proper DVD package, in stead of just a cd case with 2 discs.
